Like listening to local talent?  Well, it doesn’t get much more local than at the Sunnyside Music Fest’s Battle of the Bands.  At least one member of the band needs to live in the 80211 or 80212 zip code.  The winner of the event gets to play in the Sunnyside Music Fest that occurs on September 11th in Chaffee Park.  Even though it cost $10 to get into a Sunnyside Resident’s backyard for the show, you get free food from In Season, Bel Fiore Sausages and El Camino.  Plus free beer from Breckenridge Brewery and free wine from Mondo Vino.  And the added bonus is if you got kids, bring them.  There will be supervised activities for the kiddos too.
