Are you a person that enjoys finding out how and why things were built the way they were? Doors Open Denver is an analysis of architecture of the 1950′s and beyond all over Denver. In Northwest Denver, several of the buildings on the Regis University campus are studied through free walking tours (the Adult Learning Center, Field House, Loyola Hall, Pomponio Science Center, and the St. John Francis Chapel). Totally Tennyson…A Taste of Tennyson

On April 30, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., the streets of Tennyson will be filled with funky music, delicious food, and zealous bar crawlers. Totally Tennyson will offer participants a taste of bars, restaurants, boutiques, and galleries up and down Tennyson for the price of a $20 ticket (if purchased before April 18th). At each stop along the way, contributing bars/restaurants will give you a taste of either a drink or food item, and stores/galleries will provide you with some flavor of their merchandise. As Spring is now upon us, we are all feel it is time to do some fine tuning to our homes, bodies, our look, and for our kids to get some of that pent up energy out. And that is what the Spring Fling is all about. This will be the second annual event coordinated by the Highlands Mommies Business Group (HMBG). It is perfectly situated in our primary High School, North High, and caters to all ages. Sloan’s Lake is the perfect spot to host a 5K event due to the running trail being 3.1 miles around the lake.
